Evert van de Beek from Ede finished last weekend as 2nd and third at the Dutch TT circuit at Assen in the two heats for the UEM Supermono Cup.

6th place in Spa Franchorchamps
Evert van de Beek ended last weekend in the first race for the European Supermono Championship as 6th at the legendary circuit of Spa Francorchamps .
''This was the best result I good get for I guess.I had a pretty bad start and couldn't catch the leaders but could follow Lawes and Meiners but when Lawes blew up his engine almost in my face I lost Meiners finished as 6th "

Evert van de Beek 3rd at Oschersleben
Promotec rider Evert van de Beek finished last weekend as 3rd overall at the German Motopark circuit in Oschersleben.
The race was officially pointing for the Dutch Open Championship, but van de Beek and his team decided to use this particular race as a test for the upcoming European Supermono Cup race later on in August.
Van de Beek qualified as 3rd for the race under tropical conditions with temperatures of almost 40 degrees Celsius.
The race went as planned and van de Beek finished on his Ducati Supermono as 3rd on the podium
‘’I am very happy with this result especially if you know that we were involved in an accident on the way to the circuit. With the help of my mechanics and fellow riders Sjoerd van Buiten and Jarno Sanders we managed to come to this result and I want to point out that without their support I would not have been standing here’’

Evert van de Beek 5th at Assen
Promotec rider Evert van de Beek finished last weekend as 5th overall at Assen.
32 riders from across Europe gathered for round 2 of the European Supermono Cup.
The European supermono race was one of the 14 support races at the Ducati Club races,Europe biggest amateur motorsport event.
Van de Beek qualified as 3rd for the race under sunny and dry weather conditions.
The race however was rather chaotic as it started to rain after just half a lap.
Due to the fact that almost everybody was on slicks the result of this was a lot of crashes.
Van de Beek however managed to finish and finished as 5th.
Winner Jan Hanhoff from Germany was the only one who was on wet tires…
‘’Unbelievable that the race director did not stop the race,it was like racing on ice! If it would have stayed dry the result would have been much better “

DNF for Evert van de Beek
Last weekend, Evert van de Beek unfortunately did not manage to finish at the seasonal openings race for the UEM Supermono Cup at Spa Francorchamps.
After two rounds and riding on a fourth position in the race van de Beek had to pull in due to an overheated engine.
""This is very sad too be honest.The whole weekend we had all kind of cooling problems of the engine and the team worked very hard to get the bike ready for the race, but unfortunately we did not succeed.''
The race was won by Manfred Kehrmann from Germany.

DNF holds van de Beek back from a 3rd overall place in the 2009 standings of the UEM Supermono Cup 2009
Evert van de Beek failed to finish last weekend due to technical problems in the last race of the 2009 season at the Dutch TT circuit at Assen.
Despite the fact that van de Beek was 3rd overall in the standingslist with one race to go,this DNF dropped him back to a 5th overall result.
Van de Beek had a blistering start and was battling for 3rd riding on a fourth place when his engine failed with only 2 laps to go.
"Very disapointing off course,but that's racing.This year has been my best year so far and as long as I make progression I''ll keep on going "

Again a good result for Evert van de Beek in UEM Supermono Cup race
Evert van de Beek finished 3rd last Sunday in round four of the UEM Supermono Cup at Snetterton,England. The first qualifying session of Friday afternoon was redflagged due to a severe crash of Dutchman van Dijk.Due to this van de Beek could not improve his 8th best time.
As the weather was turning for the worse on Saturday van de Beek decided to take no risk at all as it was unlikely to improve his time on rain tyres.
After a blistering start and perseverance van de Beek managed to finish 3rd in the race on Sunday.
With only one point difference on the current leader van de Beek drops now to the second place in the standings of the UEM Supermono Cup.

Evert van de Beek 3rd in Oschersleben
[30 may] Evert van de Beek from Ede has finished as 3rd last Sunday in round three of the UEM Supermono Cup in Oschersleben,Germany.
Race two which initially was planned for Saturday was red flagged after a severe crash of German rider Stefan Meiners and after the restart the rain started to drop and due to that it resulted in a final cancellation of race two.
Van de Beek who qualified himself as 7th for the race on Sunday had to start from row two and had a rather slow start but managed to become third after the 14 lap race .
With this result van de Beek is currently leading the UEM Supermono Cup standingslist.

[3 may]Van de Beek finishes fourth in seasons opener for the 2009 UEM Supermono Cup Evert van de Beek finished last weekend in Assen as fourth in the First round of the 2009 UEM Supermono Cup. After the qualifying sessions on Saturday van de Beek ended as fifth overall putting himself on the second row for the race.
After a blistering start van de Beek worked himself through the field up to a third position but had to do with a fourth place in the last lap. Lex van Dijk won the race followed by German rider Stefan Meiners and Henk from as third.

Van de Beek ends as 14 th overall in UEM Supermono Cup 2008/Season overview
Evert van de Beek has finished his racing season as 14th overall in the UEM Supermono Cup 2008 [233 KB]

The 2008 season wasn't a very good one for van de Beek as he broke his collarbone for the first time in March 2008 due to a crash while practicing in Spain at the circuit of Cartagnena. At he start of the season van de Beek was faced with several technical problems which resulted in rather disapointing top 10 results and despite all efforts of his mechanics van de Beek was not able to improve any further.In July 2008 van de Beek broke his collarbone for the second time in Italy while qualifying for his race at the circuit of Magione.Due to this all van de Beek decided beginning September to retire for the rest of the season in order to prepare himself for the 2009 season.
At this stage several plans are allready made to improve the performance of the Ducati Supermono engine and some other smart improvements on the bike and van de Beek has decided to compete another season in the European Supermono Cup and is aiming for top 5 results.
At this stage we want to thank you all for your kind support during the season and we will be looking forward to see you back on the track in 2009 !
